Morris dancing nearly died out in the late 19th century. Folklorist Cecil Sharp then published material in the early 20th century that led to a revival of morris dancing. Sharp reported that the most vibrant sides he found a century ago were in Bampton, Oxfordshire.

Shergold was unwilling to allow the village tradition to die, however, and by the time he retired as the squire, in 1995, his side had nearly two dozen dancers. The second folk revival of the 20th century in the 1960s spurred a renewed interest in morris dancing. Two other sides in Bampton, the Traditional Bampton Morris Dancers and the Bampton Morrismen each have another dozen or more dancers.
Although dancing practice continues all year, the focus of Bampton morris dancing is on Spring Bank Holiday Monday. Dancing was formerly performed on Whit Monday, the day after Whitsunday, Pentecost, seven weeks after Easter. The change to the bank holiday was made in the 1970s, and the new date often coincides with the traditional day.
Training for Spring Bank Holiday dancing gets serious immediately after Easter: it had better. Dancing began this year at 8:30 a.m. and continued all day, concluding at dusk, and was then followed by music, singing, and partying in the Talbot Hotel. A lad had better be in good physical condition to adhere to that regimen.
This movie ends with a huge poolside musical number which includes over 60 people. With so many characters singing and dancing at once, it's tricky to spot Miley Cyrus in the crowd, but she's visible from 1:48:52 to 1:48:55.
Crown Princess Aisha (Princess Layla in some versions) is the Fairy of Waves. She is the Crown Princess of Andros, as well as its Guardian Fairy. Aisha joins the Winx Club as its sixth member in the second season, and she is an alumna/student of the Alfea College for Fairies. Aisha is a self-confident and talented athlete who excels at dancing and swimming.
On 26 November, IRyS debuted her new main 2D model. IRyS' color palette is much brighter. IRyS now has two halos: a white one and a black one both hovering above her head. Her hair is a lot less curly and each lock is much more defined, with her hair color now being a bright magenta with a red lock. IRyS retains her low helix twintails, but with less layers and they are not tied together at the tips like they used to, instead they are decorated with black ribbons. IRyS horns are smaller, which she claims it is because of how well she has behaved. Her nose is also smaller. For her clothing, IRyS wears a shoulderless white dress with black straps that shows her cleavage. The dress is decorated with a black and magenta ribbon and black four pointed stars. She retains the brooch from her previous model. The upper portion of her sleeves are dark purple with small decorations resembling her mascots Bloom & Gloom and "Project HOPE" logos. She wears a diagonal belt that is decorated with the two flowers the one on her left is the same that her previous model had above her skirt, but with light yellow near its petal's center. The inner portion of her dress' skirt is red. IRyS wears long socks with a gradient from black to magenta decorated with embedded jewels and purple shoes.[23]
On 13 January, IRyS debuted her new year costume. IRyS uses high twintails decorated with magenta starry ribbons and optionally other flower accessories. IRyS wears a kimono with white and pink sleeves that gradient to purple. The right sleeve has a black hole print representing the end on the universe, while the left sleeve has a supernova representing the beginning of the universe.[29] The obi is decorated with a classic iris flower and a pair of sparkly dark purple and white wings.
