var flashvars = ; var params = ; params.quality = "high"; params.wmode = "opaque"; params.bgcolor = "#869ca7"; var attributes = ; attributes.id = "MyTestedApp"; attributes.name = "MyTestedApp"; attributes.align = "middle"; swfobject.embedSWF( "MyTestedApp.swf", "flashContent", "100%", "100%", "10.0.0", "playerProductInstall.swf", flashvars, params, attributes);

Designed to be easy to use and install, users or website owners may install the web versionof Ruffle and existing flash content will "just work", with no extra configuration required.Ruffle will detect all existing Flash content on a website and automatically "polyfill"it into a Ruffle player, allowing seamless and transparent upgrading of websites that stillrely on Flash content.

On Linux, make sure the player's executable is accessible globally (for example, in the /usr/bin/ directory or in the PATH) and its name is no other than flashplayer (you could rename the original file or make a symlink to it).

If you download the flash player cab file for Microsoft System Center/SCCM, extract the xml file from the it, then you'll see the msi file listed in the xml file. There's a link for the activex installer and also the Mozilla/firefox/netscape plugin.

Sorry for bad English...Most old answers doesn't work in 2016. So...Here are direct download links to Adobe Flash Player Offline Installer for Windows (flash version 24.0.0.186, from 2016-12-20):NPAPI (Firefox): _flash_player.exe PPAPI (Opera/Chromium): _flash_player_ppapi.exe ActiveX (InternetExplorer): _flash_player_ax.exe Uninstaller: _flash_player.exe

First you need to get a debugging version of your flash players. Go to and scroll down to the version that you want. (I will use Flash palyer 9 for this example but the other versions should be similar.)

The debugger is a standalone flash player that runs without a browser on your computer. If you put the address of your DVX switcher flash file in as the file to open you can still access the switcher setup on the DVX. Enter this in the file open dialog: _hd.swf

I had Firefox working with the debug flash player that I downloaded from Adobe Flash Player Support Center following the instructions on =1300563. However, today, an automatic update came into my Ubuntu 11.10, which upgraded the flash player to 11.1.102.62 (a non-debug version).

Now we'll check and see if everything's running properly by making a very simple program. All this program will do is run a blank Flash game and output the text "Hello World!" to the debugger-log so we know the debug player is working correctly. Start a new project by going to:

If you don't see the "Hello World!" text, it means that the debugger isn't capturing your traces. In that case, you probably have the wrong (or outdated) debugger player installed, so try installing a different one and seeing if it works. You can also try going into:

Go here and get Adobe's Flash Player uninstaller. Do not try to uninstall your Flash players any other way unless you know exactly what you are doing. You will just screw things up. Close your browsers and run the uninstaller you downloaded.

The debugger is used to collect all the statistics during the playback so to find out any errors and other issues with the flash. This debugger comes in two modes i.e. ActiveX Control for running in the browser (Projector) and other is the standalone version for using outside the browser in case of flash development. It is used in collaboration with Flash Builder and other such applications.

Clicking the below button will start downloader the standalone setup of Adobe Flash Player Debugger 24.0.0.194 for Windows. It is compatible with both x86 and x64 architecture. It is a debugging tool for flash content.

Interestingly, it appears that I already have the official Adobe flash plugin installed and useable by Chrome, so the problem changes from "installing flash" to "replacing regular flash with the debugger version".

I then replaced /usr/lib/flashplugin/installer/libflashplayer.so with the version included in the debugger install, and restarted Chrome. To my surprise, the second Adobe Flash Player listing in chrome://plugins just disappeared!

Short story is disabling firewalls did not help.Here is the long story.When I first read your post about using he debugger, I downloaded it and plugged in a usb fob. The Simpisafe menu popped up and asked for the pin. Yes!! I can still use my Simplisafe system. But I put in the fob for a system I did not need to program (I have two). So I took the fob out and put in the correct one. It started throwing the error message. I tried many times and on two PCs.After your reply to my question, I disabled Windows defender firewall and still got the error messages. So I went into Virus and threat protections setting and disabled all of them. Bingo, I got into the Simpisafe fob. I made my changes and saved it. Then went looking in Virus and threat protections for the one setting that made the difference. No know matter what the firewall or virus and threat protection settings are now, I get the old error message. It appears when I got in it was just a fluke. I am back to no access to the fob.

I am using Windows 10 Home.You will love what I just discovered.I was searching the 2048 security sandbox error on line and found a long note from a developer that found a port was not getting set up correctly to receive data from a usb device. None of it helped me because I am not writing an application. But all the right words were there suggesting something is not setting up the usb port correctly when I run the debugger. Then I stumbled on this. If I run the SimpiSafeWizard.exe, it opens IE and fails because there is no Flash player installed. Then I run simpli.swf with the flash player debugger and it runs. So it would appear the wizard sets up the port correctly before it fails and the debugger comes in and takes advantage of that to run successfully. Worked every time I tried it. I might just be able to get my system configured the way I want after all!!

Adobe Flash Player Debugger can be very useful for collecting debug information while building Flex applications. The Adobe Flash Player Debugger is a support tool for developers working on Adobe Flash projects. The utility can prove to be very useful if you are encountering errors because it can help you create code breakpoints, provides extensive control upon the app execution, enables you to monitor specific variables, or evaluate expressions while the project is running. Updated debugger (aka debug players or content debuggers) and standalone (aka projector) versions of Flash Player 10.2 are available for Flash Builder 4, Flash Catalyst, Flash Professional CS4, and Flash Professional CS5 users. All users are encouraged to update to the new players.

Unlike other flash players, Adobe Flash Player is backed by the IT giant, which develops a wide range of content-focused products. As such, the program receives regular updates and comes with various tutorials to help you learn the basics of multimedia creation. You can leverage these resources, or seek help from a solid community.
